1. We again request that players respect the Cart Path only signs
2. new Smoking policy, (a.) No smoking in the Pro Shop or Dining Room. (b.) Smoking is authorized in the lounge
3. New Computer equipment has been leased for the Pro Shop, Lounge and management areas.
4. New chairs have been ordered for the lounge. Wayne will repair what he can of the old lounge chairs for the Pro shop.
5. Green Oaks, in conjunction with the YMCA, has intitiated a Junior golf program. This is a 5 week course that teaches basic golf principles. Nine (9) junior golfers have signed up for the initial class.
6. There has been a price increase in the pro shop on all beverages and candies.

IMPORTANT: Our annual membership meeting is only a couple of months away (April). It is time to start thinking about nominations for the Board of Directors. We need members to step up and commit themselves to serve on the Board of Directors.  There will be three (3) vacancies on the board of Directors that will need to be filled. If you would like to have your name on the ballot, drop a note to Mr. Davenport requesting your name be placed on the ballot. There are several items that need to be voted on by the general membership so it is important that we get maximum participation at the annual meeting (3 April 2007 @ 07:00Pm). We the members of the Board also need you opinions of how you feel things are going and what can be done to improve the current program. Remember, if you don’t vote you leave the decisions up to others.
