Thank you for making Green Oaks your golf home. Every effort will be made to give you a quality golf course to play on and a pleasant enviroment to enjoy our other facilities.


A fond farewell to our former members who have resigned this past month: Rocky Admas, John Ledbetter, George Corbell, and Bradly Corbell. Our present membership is - 172 Full time and 9 Junior members
MANAGEMENT: Congratulations to our Club Champions: Billy Conn and Sonya (anika) Presnall.
The fall golf season is in full swing, come on out and enjoy a day on our beatuiful course then join us for a little fellowship in the 19th hole (The Acorn Lounge). One of our favorite people has a new job and will depart the latter part of this month. Have a great ride, Mike Purvis, we will miss you and hurry back (WOO PIGS). The club will be open Thanksgivingday from 11 am-untill. Come on out and work the turkey off.

TOURNAMENTS: Our last torunament this year will be December 1st and 2nd, an End of the year fun tournament. The format will be as follows:
Sat: 9 Holes Four Ball and 9 Holes Scramble
Sun: 9 Holes Alternate Shot and 9 holes Meatal (Total score).

SANDBAGGERS PLEASE STAY HOME, THIS IS A FUN TOURNAMENT, AND YOU ONLY TAKE THE FUN OUT. On a personal note: I can not understand how anyone can sacrifice their integrity for a few dollars and take the fun out of an event for everyone esle.

From the Course Superintendent: Again Green Oaks is in great shape for Fall and winter golf. Please help us to keep it beautiful. The damage done in the winter takes a long time to repair. Let me remind you when it is necessary to restrict the course to CART PATHS ONLY, this means everyone including members with handicap flags. It is our course protect it.
